Here at Hanai we are thrilled to be able to offer a location to host your closest friends and family that can truly honor the connection between you and your partner. We offer an intimate experience for our couples to enjoy exclusive access to the entire property. Hanai is one of the only venues located so close to downtown, just a 10 minute drive will have you in the heart of Bend. We are proud to offer a truly unique venue unlike anything else in Central Oregon.
Hanai means “to nurture” in Hawaiian, and we would be honored to be part of your marriage that will nurture you for a lifetime. Our space is inspired by nature’s innate beauty. With large windows that allow for central Oregon’s natural light to come in as well as custom accordion doors that all but erase the walls, you will feel one with nature when you are here. Hanai was built with an eco conscience vision that can be seen throughout our property, one example being our large pillars that are meant to resemble the magnificent forests of Oregon. The modern design integrates beautifully with any style to create a unique and timeless wedding experience to remember forever.

Celebrate Indoors
Our largest room, the Forest Room, is flooded with natural light and boasts 24 foot ceilings. With floor to ceiling windows as well as custom accordion doors that slide all the way open to give you the ability to seamlessly float from the patio or the gallery into the forest room. The possibilities are endless as this room can be transformed from an intimate ceremony location, to a high end dining experience, a mature reception, the perfect dance floor, the list goes on and on.
Outdoor Ceremonies
Our grassy meadow is perfect for an outdoor ceremony, reception or both! We sit on 9 acres that will surround you with natural Central Oregon landscapes. We have two outdoor water features to create a lovely ambiance for guests to enjoy. Additionally, we have other possibilities on site for outdoor ceremonies, depending on size, that we would be more than happy to discuss during a tour of the grounds.
Indoor Elopements
Our Earth Room’s living wall is a lush backdrop for an intimate indoor elopement and will represent your flourishing love. The huge golden dome skylight allows for amazing lighting as you say, “I do”. If you plan to have a ceremony elsewhere on the property and are looking for another way to incorporate the Earth Room into your day it can also serve as an ideal room for the bridal party to get ready and have flawless photos.
